Reading: I am deep into An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir and it is just incredible. I’m still working on More Was Lost by Eleanor Perenyi, which is so good.

Watching: The daughter and I are still working our way through Sherlock. She loves it, but is frustrated that she can only watch one episode a night!

We also went to see Wonder Woman yesterday and holy cow! It was so good! The boy was punching away in his seat and the girl had stars in her eyes. So good.

Listening: I started My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier this week. I’m reading it with some other blogging friends. It’s read by Jonathan Pryce and he is an amazing reader. So so so good.

Playing: Sims Freeplay. It is taking up way too much of my time but daaaang it’s fun.

Eating: The kids are making Daddy breakfast for Father’s Day and my son is frying me an egg. Pray it’s over hard. I don’t like runny yolks!

Loving: Air conditioning!

Looking Forward: Moving? Sometimes I think it’ll never happen.

  1. I made the mistake of pulling out Sims3 a few weeks ago and I can feel it pulling me when I’m not playing. So addictive! I’m going to start My Cousin Rachel soon and am really looking forward to it. I love Rebecca but didn’t love Frenchman’s Creek so I’m not sure how I’ll feel about it. Have a great week!

  2. I don’t care about Wonder Woman as a character and am not even sure I liked the movie — but I cried like a baby starting with the scene in No Man’s Land and continuing pretty much throughout the whole rest of the movie. Apparently it meant a lot to me to see a movie that centered on a lady superhero. Who knew.
