It’s Monday and I’m back to work after a week off to move. (Insert sad face.) It is also (!) the start of Bout of Books and I am so ready! I realized when I made my list yesterday, I failed to include an audiobook. Since I spent last week moving, I couldn’t really listen to anything (for some reason, people kept wanting to talk to me) so I’m on the hunt for a new audio. I’m thinking of starting either Impossible Views of the World by Lucy Ives or Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire.
Last week I read the EXCELLENT American Fire: Love, Arson, and Life in a Vanishing Land by Monica Hesse and I find myself wanting another excellent true crime book. I’m just not sure I can find one as riveting as that one. Any ideas?
As for anything else, I’m between books, so I’ll be dipping into my Bout of Books pile to find something that sticks.

I’m still working my way through Middlemarch although I’m cheating on it with Andrea Barrett’s short story collection Ship Fever. What is Bout of Books? I’m intrigued…!
