Podcasts of the Month! More like months.

Since I missed July and August, I thought I’d do the two months together. I would just skip July, but I listened to some truly great casts and I just have to tell you all about them. Sooooo…

July

Classical Classroom, Episode 173: Mozart’s Death Demystified – If you’ve seen the BRILLIANT movie Amadeus…it didn’t happen that way. That doesn’t make Mozart’s death any less mysterious. And fascinating.

Singing Bones: The Red Shoes – I cannot being to tell you how much I love this podcast. It is the ONLY one I can think of that I have listened to each cast more than once. EACH CAST. The Red Shoes is the newest episode and boy did it deliver. I love how Claire, the host, gives such thorough background on each story and still makes it interesting.

Very Bad Words: The C-Word – Yes, I have a potty mouth. No, I don’t say the C-Word. Yet, the feminists the hosts interviewed for this episode make a very strong case for doing so.

Human Race: Episode 25 – Rosco’s Runners – People running with donkeys? Hell yes!

August

Curiosity Podcast: Why the 2017 Solar Eclipse is Such a Huge Deal – I listened to this podcast with the kids before the podcast and it really added a layer of scientific fascination to the experience. Even though the eclipse is past, it’s still a good listen. I learned a lot.

Criminal : Episode 73 – Carry A. Nation – I’ve heard of Carry A. Nation. I had no idea what she did. This was a great look at this amazing lady and early pioneer of feminist’s life.

I have so many podcasts to listen to right now, because I have just finished a long audiobook. I hope I have lots of great casts to share with you in September.
