It’s Monday!

I just took a personality test that says I am a Mediator, or INFP-T (Stands for: Introversion (I), Intuition (N), Feeling (F), Perception (P)). I’m not sure I am as “dreamy” as this quiz seems to think I am, but a lot of it hit the mark perfectly. Apparently, we’re rare?

Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

What are you?

Anyway, reading. What am I reading?!

Well, for one thing, I stayed up WAY PAST MY BED TIME to read more of Beard Science (Winston Brothers, #3) by Penny Reid. These books, in classic Nora Roberts way, center around a family of brothers. 6 brothers. Oh, and one sister. They are all tall, hot, extremely awesome in personality, and bearded. There is one brother in particular, who strikes my fancy and this book is about HIM. So yeah. Couldn’t put it down, much to my body’s chagrin.

I have a feeling I’ll be reading on my phone in the bathroom at work today.

I’m reading other things, but honestly, they won’t matter until I finish THIS BOOK.

What are you reading on this freezing cold Monday?

Currently \\ November 26, 2017

Reading: I have been VERY FICKLE with my reading lately, however, I THINK I have settled down to three four books. After finishing Grin and Beard It; Winston Brothers #2 by Penny Reid, I had to immediately jump into #3: Beard Science. Romance is not typically one of my favorite genres but gosh darn it. I love this series. I also started The Leavers by Lisa Ko and Exit West by Mohsin Hamid, after they made the Tournament of Books Longlist (OMG WHAT A GREAT LIST THIS YEAR). I’m listening to Exit West, also read by the author, and it’s gorgeous. All in all, great reading going on up in here. The fourth book I’m reading is Rain: A Natural and Cultural History by Cynthia Barnett. I had no idea about rain. NO IDEA.

Watching: I was on vacation last week and I started (finally) binging Supernatural. I have no idea what took me so long, but hey, at least I have a LOT of episodes to watch. I’m also watching The Good Place with my daughter. I just love Ted Danson and Kristin Bell.

Listening: As I said above, I’m listening to Exit West. I’m also listening to lots of podcasts. I had to cancel my Spotify membership and I hate it so much so not much music listening going on right now. It hurts y’all. I am missing my Spotify Free.

I can always count on Oprah, to feel my pain.

Playing: I haven’t been playing much of anything. My husband got the new Skyrim for the VR on the PS4 and he is ALWAYS PLAYING IT. Not really but it feels like it. VR makes me drunk like no ones business, so I haven’t touched it. I need a new, STABLE, game.

Eating: SO MUCH TURKEY.

Loving: My new house. That reading seems to be back on track *knocks wood* and that Christmas break is coming up.

Looking Forward: To decorating the tree later.

Well….

When you have to lookup your own web address to confirm you actually know what it is, it may have been too long since posting.

I don’t know what happened. Just got busy I guess. Forgot about posting. Maybe am in the habit of NOT posting? Who knows. I know I don’t want to quit yet, so let’s get this baby back on mine (and your) radar!

Who is doing Thankfully Reading Weekend? I am! That’s the whole reason I had to look up my address! Jennifer at Jenn’s Bookshelves hosts this every year and I wouldn’t miss it. Maybe it’ll even perk up my reading; which has completely tanked since the Readathon. I have no real goals in mind, except maybe finish a book. I think I’ll be starting with Force of Nature by Jane Harper. I won a copy on GoodReads AND I AM SO EXCITED about it. EXCITED I TELL YOU.

Then I may throw in some graphic novels and comics. Who knows. Excited to see what the weekend brings!
